Hi!

I'd like to contribute toward the goals of the FSF because I'm now able to see the present and future benefits to society that free software offers. I don't have a background in computer science or programming, but I'm not afraid to learn. Currently I'm studying political science at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, so this is a bit of a hobby.
