Good Morning! I'm drowning in choices! So many distros, so few computers. I've tried many distros, and am trying to pick one as I'm tired of jumping from one to another. Could someone point me in the direction of some publication(s) to help me narrow the choice? Thanks in advance. Bill
Well thanks cmsimon. I'll settle back and do some reading. Is it common for most to choose one distro and stick with it, or do people switch around? Is loyalty to a distro applicable in this case, or is it more a case of sticking to your guns as far as free software goes?

Hi wpurcell, thanks for joining our forum.
My suggestion is that you learn TWO different distributions.
I suggest gNewSense and Blag because they represent two different flavours: gNewSense has a .deb package system (such as Debian, Ubuntu..) and Blag has a .rpm package system (such as Fedora, Mandriva etc.)
I prefer .deb but it's my personal choice.
Thanks arc! I'll download arc and give it a go.
