Hey Peter,

First, open up Synaptic Package Manager (click System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager) then search for mozilla-plugin-gnash. Click on it's box and hit Mark for Installation and click Apply. You should know that this version is "seriously out of date" and doesn't play YouTube videos according to the Gnash developers, so you might want the latest release: http://www.getgnash.org/packages/snapshots/ubuntu/intepid/ Basically, just download and install all i386 .deb files except for klash and konqueror files, but you should un-install your Gnash files in Synaptic by searching for gnash and marking them for complete removal (click on their boxes). Good luck, and if you're having trouble don't hesitate to ask for help.

Oh, and you don't need the cygnal file, either. That's for server stuff.
