Hi, I am brand new to gnewsense. I downloaded the file gnewesense-livecd-deltah-386-2.2 onto my winxp v2002 system and it saved it as a winrar folder. I then copied it to a r/w cd and burned it in.

I then tried to boot it on a laptop running ubuntu by selecting the cd as the boot device.

Regretably it just boots the hard disk. My guess is that the cd is not bootable or wrong format, or some such.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I unpacked the winrar archive and burned the contents on to another cd, No luck though.

Hi firefox, you have to download the deltah 2.2 .iso file and under xp chose a burn program like Nero, which allows you to burn iso-images and you can boot from cd. If your system do not boot from cd, you have to change the boot sequence in the bios.

Greetings emerald
