These look like good computers, and it is great that you can buy them with gNewSense preinstalled.
I was a little surprised to find out that a lot of the computers they sell come with an Nvidia GeForce video card, which I'm sure will work fine with gNewSense, but will never be able to do 3D for free. (at least in the near future) :-P
To buy a computer with preinstalled gNewSense is fine, but only if you install the System
by yourself gives you the fully freedom of doing all by yourself. When I buy a PC with preinstalled
OS it can create a feeling of "keep out", a feeling of restriction. It seems to be not my system, it seems the system of the manufacturer of the hardware. It is (in my opinion)
much better to install use and administrate your own system.
