I think that it would be great to: 1. not have so short sessions - I have to login every 10 minutes. 2. Install a GNU GPL licensed forum like phpBB2 or whatever. Installation and integration to website is simple, and the existing forum is way inconvenient and hard to search.

I completely agree. Then we could add sections so we have "install problems", "free software discussion", "problems after install", "gNewSense on MIPS", "package verification". Perhaps others aswell.

Agreed. PunBB seems like a good choice. Very light weight and fast.

Yeah, PunBB, phpBB - I think any free forum will do, most of them are flexible.

Some gnewsense.org website updates. The entire website uses a wiki called Pmwiki. The forum is done this way only because when this website was born that was the best and easiest way to implement it.

On the gnewsense-dev mailing list, sirgazil, one of our contributors, developed a new skin for this website so you will see our look change soon. :)

Currently there are no plans to implement, maintain, and update a thing like phpbb or other forums.

If you wish to contribute to gnewsense feel free to subscribe to our mailing lists.

Thank you.
